Glympse

Glympse is an application that you can use to share your exact location without having to register for any special social network (in other words, it's not Foursquare). Just send your 'glympse' by email, text, Facebook status, or Twitter.

The application offers you a very simple way to quickly tell a friend or acquaintance where you are, and if, for example, you'll be running late for a meeting or date. Your 'glympse' can also include your final destination, so that the other person will know exactly where to meet you.

Glympse is an interesting tool, similar to Foursquare, but without the extra social network element. Just send your position using email or texting, and you're done.
